The strength of our department is our faculty. Civil Engineering is a professional Engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and building etc. The department focuses on the overall development of the students through innovative teaching and learning. Civil engineering student should collect the theoretical and practical knowledge during their studies and apply it to solve various problems of society. For better awareness and interest of a student, continuous interaction with reputed contraction companies are being organized at frequent intervals in the form of special guest lectures, seminars and site visits etc. the department also encourages its students to engage in co-curricular activities, essential for overall development. The department has fully equipped labs with mechanized equipment including Environmental Engineering Lab, Soil Mechanics Lab, Concrete Lab, Transportation Lab, Surveying Lab, Engineering geology Lab, Strength of material Lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Computer Aided design and Drawing Lab, Learning and Creativity Centre.
